A 3 1/2-week-old girl was kidnaped at gunpoint from her Riverside home Tuesday by a woman who gained entrance to the house by claiming that her car had broken down, police said.

Sharon Howard, 31, told police that a woman standing about 5-feet, 10-inches tall and weighing about 190 pounds came to her door in the 1000 block of Minerva Court at about 10:30 a.m. She said her car had stopped running and asked to use the telephone.

Pulled Revolver

Once inside, the woman pulled a revolver and ordered Howard and her 7-year-old son into separate rooms, police said. When the woman left, Howard returned to her front room and realized that her daughter, Lauren Nicole, had been abducted.
