Pedestrian Killed on I-5 in Carlsbad
CARLSBAD —
A man believed to be a Mexican illegal alien about 19 years old was killed Saturday when he was hit by a car as he ran along the center divider of Interstate 5, authorities reported.
Saul Rayo Navarro was hit by a southbound car driven by Revis Herzog of Santa Barbara, the California Highway Patrol reported. The accident occurred north of Cannon Road about 11 a.m.
The CHP officers is investigating the accident.
