Apartment Complex Hit by $28,000 Fire
An apartment fire in Northridge Wednesday night caused an estimated $28,000 in damage to the structure and contents but caused no injuries, the Los Angeles Fire Department said.
Eight fire companies responded and confined the fire to the walls of two apartments in the complex at 16901 Napa St., said Jim Williamson, a department spokesman. The fire began about 7:05 p.m. and was extinguished at 7:30 p.m., he said.
The cause of the blaze was being investigated.
