San Diego Volleyball : Aztecs Fall to San Jose St. for Second Straight Defeat
The San Diego State volleyball team’s No. 1 ranking in the NCAA is in jeopardy after the Aztecs were defeated by San Jose State, 15-5, 11-15, 15-5, 15-5, Friday night at San Jose. It was the Aztecs’ second consecutive loss.
Lisa Ice paced San Jose State with 20 kills. Kris Morton lead the Aztecs with 17 kills. SDSU is 10-4 in the conference, 33-4 overall. San Jose State is 8-4 and 19-4.
United States International University narrowly won the first game, but Nevada Reno won the next three for a West Coast Athletic Conference victory, 14-16, 15-7, 15-12, 15-7, at Reno. USIU is 5-2 and 16-13.
