Traveling in Style

Just bought my L.A. Times. Weeded out all the junk, honed and shaved it down to why I buy it.
Traveling in Style made this a very special day. “Shanghai: The Way It Was” by Irene Korbally Kuhn was so wonderful, so exciting, so satisfying, so expressive, so honest, and I’ve never been there. Gosh, it was glorious. Her kind of writing was my kind of reading. Kinda like Mark Twain’s “Life on the Mississippi.” And I ain’t never been there, neither. But she and he managed to make me feel I had. Touched all my senses, and that’s real craftsmanship. How rare it is. NAT LUNARDI Rowland Heights
