SDSU Defeats Fresno State in Volleyball
Top-ranked San Diego State broke a three-match losing streak with a 15-5, 15-2, 15-5 Pacific Coast Athletic Assn. women’s volleyball victory over Fresno State Monday night.
The Aztecs, 11-5 in the PCAA and 34-5 overall, moved into third place with the victory. Fresno fell to 3-10 and 6-20.
Outside hitters Kim Harsch (12 kills) and Sally Larsen (seven kills) led the Aztecs. Jackie Mendez recorded four service aces for SDSU, which hit .444 as a team, the third highest in school history.
The Aztecs close out their regular-season home schedule Wednesday with a 7:30 p.m. nonconference match against UCLA at Peterson Gym.
