Cigarette Butts

I was driving through town the other day and the driver in front of me flicked his cigarette butt out the window. This angered me. I’ve seen smokers do this before, but this was the “last straw.”

Why do smokers forgo their ashtrays and insist on littering the streets and highways with their cigarette remains? When their car ashtrays are filled, smokers tend to deposit their cigarette remains by the curb or in parking lots (depending on where they are parked).

I wish those smokers would use the trash receptacles for emptying their ashtrays. I love a clean environment, and I encourage smokers to deposit their cigarette remains in the right places.
