San Diego Soccer : Herman’s Goal Puts USD Past Santa Barbara, 1-0
SAN DIEGO —
Steve Herman scored with 12 minutes remaining to give the University of San Diego a 1-0 victory over UC Santa Barbara in a nonconference soccer match Wednesday.
USD is 17-3-1. UCSB is 7-11-3.
San Diego State 8, Loyola Marymount 0--Kyle Whittemore and Ken Gunn each scored twice to pace the Aztecs (13-2-4) at San Diego. Whittemore tied his own record of 45 points for the season. Loyola Marymount is 0-12.
United States International University 3, Cal State Los Angeles 1--Gary Botha had two goals and one assist in the overtime victory. Cem Er also scored for USIU (7-4-3). Cal State Los Angeles is 4-10-3.
