Gianulias Seeded No. 1 in Anaheim Bowling
Nikki Gianulias won 20 of 24 matches Friday to take the top seeding in today’s finals of the $30,000 Ladies Pro Bowlers Tour Brunswick L.A. Open at BRC WonderBowl in Anaheim.
The Vallejo resident averaged 224 for 42 games to finish with 10,043 pins--380 ahead of Jeanne Maiden of Solon, Ohio. Maiden, trying for her fourth title of the year, finished second with 9,663 pins.
Betty Morris of Stockton qualified third with 9,552 in her bid for her 14th title and her first since 1980, and Robin Romeo of Van Nuys was fourth, with 9,516 pins.
