How About a Trade: Wilson for McMahon?
Howie Long says that the Raiders took a chance with him because he was kicked off his college team for being in a barroom brawl. In other words, he fits their image.
If this is so, how does Al Davis explain his drafting of Marc Wilson and the patience he has shown in waiting for Wilson to develop as a team leader and winner? Wilson has the size, intelligence and skill of a great quarterback, but he doesn’t fit the Raider mold.
Of all the great BYU quarterbacks, the only one who could play for the Raiders is Jim McMahon. How about a trade?
