Local News in Brief : Police Crack Down on Sun Valley Prostitution
Police arrested at least 36 people on prostitution charges during a two-day sweep in Sun Valley, North Hollywood Division Sgt. Will Doran said.
On Friday and Saturday nights, undercover vice officers rounded up mostly men seeking to solicit sex for money in the vicinity of San Fernando Road and Sunland Boulevard, Doran said.
Police chose the area because of citizens’ complaints about increased prostitution there, he said.
