Aaron Ramirez of Arizona and Angela Chalmers of Northern Arizona won the individual titles in the NCAA Cross-Country Championships at Tucson.
Ramirez ran the 10,000-meter men’s course in 30 minutes 27.53 seconds; Chalmers won the 5,000-meter women’s race in 16:55.49.
Joe Falcon of Arkansas finished second in 30:32.73 to lead the Razorbacks to the men’s team title, while Texas put four runners in the top 15 to win the women’ team championship.
