Daughter of Chief Justice Warren Dies
Dorothy Warren Knight, 55, one of three daughters of the late U.S. Chief Justice Earl Warren, died of cancer Sunday at her home in Falls Church, Va. She had suffered multiple sclerosis for the last 20 years.
Mrs. Knight was a native of Oakland, Calif., and a graduate of UCLA. For many years in the late 1940s and early ‘50s, when their father was governor of California, the social activities, engagements and marriages of the three Warren girls were dutifully reported in the Western press.
Survivors include her husband Harry, of Falls Church, two stepsons, her mother, Nina E. Warren of Washington, two sisters and three brothers.
