Santa Ana : Police Searching for Man Who Shot Motorist
Police on Saturday continued their search for a man who shot a motorist in the chest at the intersection of 5th and Euclid streets, leaving the victim in serious condition.
David Comyns, 41, of Fountain Valley apparently had gotten out of his car at the intersection and was arguing with a bicycle rider, Police Sgt. Don Robertson said Saturday. When the bike rider’s friends ran to help him, one pulled a gun and shot Comyns in the chest, Robertson said. No suspects have been arrested.
Comyns was taken to Fountain Valley Community Hospital, where a nursing supervisor said he was in serious condition.
