A Whiff of Disagreement
The column by Al Martinez on sewers for Malibu was written by a vivid and well-fertilized mind. If he tried to be humorous, he failed. If he tried to be truthful, he failed. In fact, the whole article stinks.
The proposed system will increase, not decrease, pollution in the ocean. True, there are some local problems that need tending. But why impose a costly areawide system unless the intent is to convert Malibu from a rural to an urban community?
