B. Dalton Bookseller, Minneapolis, said Thursday that its chairman and chief executive, Sherman A. Swenson, will leave the company when Dayton Hudson Corp. completes the sale of B. Dalton later this month. Dayton Hudson reached an agreement last month to sell B. Dalton to a firm owned by Barnes & Noble Bookstores, Leonard Riggio and Vendamerica.
