Alex Solis, who was injured Sunday in a ninth-race spill at Hollywood Park, was listed in good condition at Centinela Hospital Medical Center.
Solis, 22, suffered a broken left thumb and a “possible” broken shin, doctors said. It was first announced Sunday that Solis had broken the shin bone.
Eddie Delahoussaye, who was injured in a separate spill Sunday at Hollywood Park, spent Sunday night at Centinela under observation and was released Monday after being treated for back bruises.
Pat Valenzuela, another jockey who was injured at Hollywood last Wednesday, is scheduled to have further X-rays taken of a sore wrist Thursday. Valenzuela missed two days of riding, then got back into action over the weekend.
