An Arizona State football player, identified only as a second or third stringer, has tested positive for anabolic steroids and has been suspended from the Sun Devils’ Rose Bowl game against Michigan.
Thirty-six Sun Devils--22 based on most playing time and 14 chosen at random--were tested Dec. 3 by NCAA officials as part of that organization’s new testing for postseason games.
