Lazers’ 3-Game Trip Opens in St. Louis

Share

The Los Angeles Lazers are on the road for three Major Indoor Soccer League games beginning tonight at 5:30 against the St. Louis Steamers.

In their last outing, the Lazers (4-6) snapped a six-game losing streak by beating the Dallas Sidekicks, 6-4, Sunday at the Forum. A victory tonight would move them into a fourth place tie with the Steamers (5-7).

However, the team has only one win in five road games this season. The Lazers are still smarting from their last trip when they lost several players to injuries and took their nose dive.

In an effort to strengthen their roster, the Lazers signed midfielder Amir Darabi to a 10-day contract.

The Lazers play Sunday at Chicago and Tuesday at Wichita, Kan.
