KCBS EARLY NEWS WILL CONTINUE
The 7 p.m. daily newscast on KCBS-TV Channel 2, introduced Dec. 1 for a five-week trial run, has been given the green light to continue for an indefinite period.
Tom Van Amburg, vice president and general manager of the station, said the news program will go on hiatus starting Monday. The newscast will resume Jan. 12.
