Lazers Play Sockers Today at the Forum
The slumping Los Angeles Lazers will play host to the San Diego Sockers, defending champions in the Major Indoor Soccer League, today at 1:30 p.m. at the Forum.
After a promising start, the Lazers (4-8) have lost 9 of their last 10 games and have fallen into last place in the Western Division. The Sockers (7-6) are in third place. The Lazers beat San Diego twice during a 3-0 start, before suffering key injuries.
Still on the injured list are Willie Molano and Beto, both of whom were instrumental in the Lazers’ early success.
