Danny Manning was just another player in the first half Thursday night. In the second half, the game belonged to him.

Manning scored 15 of his 17 points after halftime to lead No. 19-ranked Kansas to a 67-64 victory over No. 8-ranked Temple at Lawrence, Kan., giving the Jayhawks their 40th consecutive victory at home.

“I think I have the ability to at least change situations in the game,” Manning said. “In the second half, we started moving more and we ran the floor a lot better. I ducked in and out of the post and I was able to get more shots.”
