One man was found dead and two others wounded in a car parked on a Highland Park street, police said. All the victims were Asian and the survivors spoke only Chinese, hampering detectives trying to find out what happened, Sgt. David Lewis said. Paramedics found the men in the car about 5 a.m., Lewis said. Investigators believe the men had been shot elsewhere and then driven to the area where the car was found, he said. The injured men were taken to County-USC Medical Center. After the car was found, the California Highway Patrol shut down the westbound lanes of the San Bernardino Freeway near Temple Street while police searched for evidence.
