King Kong Float
The King Kong float in the Rose Parade was insulting. To allow a float that portrays a woman as the screaming and powerless victim of an aggressor demonstrates the condoning, insensitive and ignorant attitudes of our society.
To deny that the King Kong syndrome has no sexual or racial overtones is to say that a rose by any other name is not a rose.
