President to Address Students in Marking King’s Anniversary

President Reagan will address the nation’s high school students Thursday on the anniversary of the birthday of the late civil rights leader Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., the White House announced Monday.

The President will deliver his remarks from the Oval Office and they will be made available to the nation’s secondary schools through the Southern Educational Communications Assn., the announcement said.

King’s birthday is Thursday and the federal holiday will be observed next Monday.
