The state Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control has suspended the liquor licenses of three bars in the San Fernando Valley for serving liquor to intoxicated persons.
The licenses of Job Site, 5614 Vineland Ave. in North Hollywood, and the Gold Cadillac, 21602 Roscoe Blvd., Canoga Park, were suspended Tuesday for 20 days, said Steven Ernst, ABC senior special investigator.
On Thursday, the liquor license of Sneaky Pete’s, at 19309 Vanowen St., Reseda, will be suspended for 45 days for several violations, Ernst said.
The Job Site had been cited by ABC investigators in January, 1986, for serving liquor to an intoxicated person, but the owner, Richard Sacheli, never paid the fine, Ernst said. That triggered the suspension, he said.
The Gold Cadillac, owned by Arthur Franco and Paul Woodworth, had been cited previously for serving to a drunk in 1985. When an identical violation was spotted by police vice officers in November, a suspension was automatic, Ernst said.
