Arrest Follows Find of Slain Man’s Body
One man was arrested Wednesday and another suspect was being sought in connection with the death of a man whose body was found Monday north of Castaic, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said.
Darrell Perkins, 27, of Compton was arrested on suspicion of murder and held without bail in the Los Angeles County Jail, deputies said.
Detectives investigating a month-old missing-person report found the victim, identified as Leonard Moss, 23, of Compton, in a remote area near Templin Highway and the Golden State Freeway, Deputy Sam Jones said. Investigators would not disclose the name of the second suspect or details of how Moss was slain.
