P.V. Estates Closes City Hall Monday
PALOS VERDES ESTATES —
City Hall will be closed to the public on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, but city employees will work.
“We need one day a year to clear out files, and it’s a good day for it because lots of government agencies will be closed,” said City Clerk Dina Cramer. Phones will not be answered except for an emergency line.
City employees in Carson, Gardena, Inglewood and Los Angeles, as well as some Redondo Beach workers, will have Monday off. State and federal offices and most public schools also will be closed.
