Local News in Brief : County Democrats Pick Jim Clarke as Chairman
Jim Clarke, a Democratic Party official from Reseda, has been elected chairman of the Los Angeles County Democratic Central Committee.
Clarke, 38, an executive recruiter for Korn/Ferry International, is vice chairman of the Democratic Party of the San Fernando Valley.
During his two-year term, Clarke will organize the county Democratic effort for the 1988 presidential elections.
Clarke succeeds Carolyn J. Wallace, a private lawyer in Malibu, as head of the group, commonly known as the Los Angeles County Democratic Party.
