Building contractor Carl Capasso, longtime companion of Cultural Affairs Commissioner Bess Myerson, pleaded guilty in New York to charges he evaded more than $700,000 in taxes. Capasso, 41, pleaded guilty to charges he evaded $774,600 in corporate and personal income taxes by manipulating his company’s records of expenses on city projects.
