James Walden has been appointed associate vice president, corporate controller, at Emulex Corp. He replaces Walter Marks, who served in the same capacity for 14 months.
Walden previously served as controller at both Western Digital Corp. in Irvine from 1983 to 1986 and at General Automation Inc. in Anaheim from 1981 to 1983.
Emulex Corp. is a Costa Mesa-based maker of computer components.
