Prince Bobby B. Wins Feature at Santa Anita
Heavily favored Prince Bobby B., ridden by Fernando Toro, drew clear entering the stretch Thursday and won by 2 lengths in the $34,000 feature race for older horses at Santa Anita.
Mr. Media, ridden by Laffit Pincay, finished second, 2 1/2 lengths in front of Thalassino Asteri, ridden by Gary Baze, in a field of 10 horses, 3 years old and up.
Prince Bobby B., who earned $18,700 for the victory, was clocked in 1:15 for the about 6 1/2-furlong race down the Hillside turf course, which was labeled firm.
Sent off the odds-on favorite, Prince Bobby B. paid $3.80, $2.80 and $2.40. Mr. Media paid $3.80 and $3.20. Thalassino Asteri paid $5.40.
