San Diego County sheriff’s deputies Thursday arrested James McDonald, 26, on suspicion of 11 motel robberies in North County. McDonald is being held in County Jail in lieu of $130,000 bail.
McDonald was held on suspicion of 11 counts of robbery and 11 counts of burglary--five in Carlsbad, three in Encinitas, one in Solana Beach, one in Del Mar and one in Vista.
The deputies apprehended McDonald near a Del Mar motel.
