Banning’s Pollard Says He Will Enroll at USC

Defensive back Melvin Pollard from Wilmington Banning, a two-time all-City selection, announced Saturday that he will attend USC.

“I always wanted to go there,” he said. “It looked kind of dim after the coaching change, but I took the trip and felt comfortable. I had a good feeling.”
