Cal State Fullerton announced Wednesday that 24 football players, including 15 community college transfers, have signed letters of intent.
A. J. Jenkins, who led the nation in sacks last year at Merced City College and was the state’s defensive most valuable player, heads the list of community college players.
Orange County athletes signing are defensive tackle Keith Radocvich (Woodbridge), offensive lineman Steve Wood (Los Alamitos) and linebacker Steve Brazas (Saddleback College).
“This is the first year we pursued JC athletes with great intensity,” said Gene Murphy, Fullerton coach. “They’ll be able to help us out in a lot of different areas.”
