Dodgers May Not Deserve Raines, but Fans Do
Peter O’Malley’s recent refusal to negotiate with free agent Tim Raines illustrates the blatant collusion existing among major league owners. While Dodger fans continue to lead the league in attendance, Dodger ownership refuses to provide them with quality players (sporting only the league’s sixth-highest payroll).
