Dodgers to Hold Public Workout, Play USC

The Dodgers are scheduled to hold their annual public workout and exhibition game with USC at Dodger Stadium today.
The workout, which starts at 11:30 a.m., marks the end of the Dodgers’ winter practices at Dodger Stadium. The seven-inning game, matching Dodger minor leaguers and the Trojans, is at 1 p.m. Admission is free.
Among the Dodgers scheduled to participate in the workout are Fernando Valenzuela, Orel Hershiser, Rick Honeycutt, Mike Scioscia, Mike Marshall, Steve Sax, Bill Madlock, Franklin Stubbs and the two newest members of the club, Tim Leary and Matt Young.
