Former pro football player Warren McVea was jailed again in Houston after failing to show up for his first visit with a probation officer, authorities said.
McVea, 40, was jailed without bond Friday for violating terms of his probation on a drug charge. McVea missed a meeting and possible drug test with his probation officer Friday.
On Feb. 6, McVea was placed on eight years’ probation for possession of cocaine discovered in a Dec. 18 raid on a southwest Houston apartment.
