John Lennon’s killer says he considered murdering a long list of other celebrities, including Paul McCartney, Johnny Carson, Elizabeth Taylor and President Reagan, People magazine reported. Mark Chapman, 31, said he shot Lennon Dec. 8, 1980, because the ex-Beatle was “more accessible” than others, but added that the murder was “meant to be . . . from before time,” People said in the report that hit the newsstands Monday.
