PGA Breaks the Rules of Common Sense

I disagree with the disqualification of Craig Stadler. It’s fine to maintain the “purest” integrity of the sport, but it is another thing to have a penalty as an afterthought. What happened to the PGA observer on the course during the tournament? If the PGA didn’t see it or call it during the play, it shouldn’t have been called.

Under this ruling, all future winners of tournaments will have to wait to accept the victory money until all the viewers have been heard from.
