USC Given Grant for Research Center

A $1.5-million grant has been contributed by Hughes Aircraft Co. to USC’s School of Engineering, to be paid out over a period of five years.

The grant, according to USC president James H. Zumberge, will help fund a new building within the School of Engineering’s planned Advanaced Technology Research Center.
