NBA Roundup : Willis and Wilkins Keep Hawks Flying

Kevin Willis had 34 points and 15 rebounds and Dominique Wilkins added 30 points and 14 rebounds as the Atlanta Hawks rolled to a 122-97 victory over Utah Saturday night at Atlanta
The Hawks, who won their sixth straight game, pulled into a virtual tie with Detroit for the Central Division lead. Atlanta trails by five percentage points.
The Hawks broke open the game with 12 straight points to build a 61-46 lead in the second quarter and scored the first eight points of the third quarter for a 77-59 lead.
Karl Malone scored 25 points for Utah and Darrell Griffith added 20.
Milwaukee 124, Indiana 120--John Lucas scored 25 points, including the last four of the game, and the Bucks got past the Pacers at Indianapolis and moved within two games of Detroit and Atlanta.
Lucas hit a basket with 31 seconds left break a 120-120 tie and added two free throws with seven seconds left.
Indiana had a nine-point lead in the first quarter, but the Bucks rallied for a 60-55 halftime lead and increased it to 70-57 in the third quarter before the Pacers rallied.
Terry Cummings added 26 points for the Bucks. John Long scored 29 points and Wayman Tisdale added 22 for Indiana.
New Jersey 114, Philadelphia 102--Orlando Woolridge came off the bench to score 20 of his 33 points in the first half and lead the Nets past the 76ers at Philadelphia.
Woolridge replaced starter Albert King five minutes into the game and sparked the Nets to a 61-46 halftime lead. The Nets led, 45-41, with 4:20 to play in the half before Woolridge keyed a 16-5 New Jersey surge with nine points.
The Nets had a 22-point lead in the final quarter.
Buck Williams added 21 points and Ben Coleman grabbed 18 rebounds for the Nets.
Andrew Toney scored 29 points for the 76ers, Roy Hinson and Maurice Cheeks each added 18 and Charles Barkley had 19 rebounds.
Phoenix 105, Sacramento 102--Walter Davis scored 24 of his 36 points in the second half and the Suns rallied to beat the Kings at Phoenix.
It was the second straight victory for Phoenix under interim Coach Dick Van Arsdale after losing the first two following the firing of John MacLeod.
Otis Thorpe scored 26 points for Sacramento and Reggie Theus added 24.
Seattle 118, Houston 115--Maurice Lucas scored 10 of his 16 points in the final quarter and Eddie Johnson made two free throws with 13 seconds left as the SuperSonics defeated the Rockets at Seattle.
The Sonics won for the seventh time in nine games.
Tom Chambers scored 29 points for Seattle.
