Devil’s Bride Wins La Habra by 1 1/2 Lengths
Favored Devil’s Bride, ridden by Rafael Meza, led from the start and won by 1 1/2 lengths Wednesday in the $66,150 La Habra Stakes for 3-year-old fillies at Santa Anita.
Footy, ridden by Pat Valenzuela, finished second, 3 1/2 lengths in front of Timely Reserve, ridden by Marco Castaneda.
Devil’s Bride was clocked in 1:16 for about 6 1/2 furlongs down the Hillside turf course and paid $6, $3.80 and $2.80. Footy returned $3.80 and $3. Timely Reserve paid $3.20 to show.
