KDI Air Freight Terminal at LAX to Be Opened Monday
The $5-million, 50,000-square-foot KDI air freight development near Los Angeles International Airport will go a long way toward meeting an “insatiable demand for air freight terminal space” west of the San Diego Freeway near the airport, according to principal Stuart Klabin. He is also president of the Klabin Co., Inglewood.
The two-building complex, which will open Monday, was designed by Dworsky Associates, Los Angeles, and was built by Carpenter & Smallwood, West Los Angeles. The project is near Manchester and Aviation boulevards on a three-acre site bounded by Hillcrest Avenue on the north, Spruce Avenue on the south, Hindry Avenue on the west and Glasgow Avenue on the east.
