Police searched Saturday for one or two unidentified gunmen who wounded four men--three critically--during a shooting spree outside a Skid Row mission Friday night.

Three of the victims were taken to County-USC Medical Center where they underwent surgery Friday night, police said. Elias Ramirez, 39; Jorge Guzman, 30, and Ramon Olivares, 38, were listed in critical condition Saturday.

The fourth victim, David Reyes, 38, was listed in fair condition after being transferred to County-USC from the California Hospital Medical Center, where he was treated for a bullet wound to his left thigh, a California Hospital spokeswoman said.

All four men listed their address as the Union Rescue Mission on South Main Street, near where the shooting took place, police said.

Police said they were uncertain whether one or two gunmen were involved in the shooting, and they said they had no motive.
