2 Killed, 3 Injured in Highway Crash
Two people died and three were injured late Friday night in a major traffic collision on Silverado Canyon Road, county Fire Department officials said.
No details were available, but officials said fog may have been a factor in the accident, which occurred at about 10:19 p.m. just east of Santiago Canyon Road in the hills north of El Toro.
A county fire dispatcher described the three survivors’ injuries as “moderate.” The California Highway Patrol, which sent units to the scene, said the victims’ names were not immediately available.
