Appointment of Supervisor
Gaddi H. Vasquez’s appointment to the Orange County Board of Supervisors is an excellent choice. I say this from experience.
About 10 years ago, when Vasquez was in his early 20s and on the police force in the city of Orange, he was coming to El Modena High School to talk to all my senior government classes about young people and the law. The students really related to him and loved his ways and presentation.
He did this for a few years while he was working in the city of Orange. I was rather sure he would go on in the public relations field.
Vasquez is extremely talented, besides being a caring, humanistic individual, and the field of politics is richer because of him.
It is no accident he was chosen. Orange County needs him.
