San Ysidro
A fire Tuesday caused $100,000 damage in a San Ysidro apartment complex. No one was injured in the blaze, which officials said was ignited by a discarded smoldering cigarette.
It took firefighters more than an hour to extinguish the 9 p.m. fire in the four-unit Sea Breeze Apartments at 258 Cottonwood Road.
