A judge ruled that banning the color mauve from the storefronts of downtown Visalia businesses is unconstitutional. Tulare County Superior Court Judge Kenneth Conn dismissed a lawsuit brought by the city against Gerald Bowling--and declaring void a city ordinance section specifying what colors are allowed on downtown storefronts. Bowling had been accused of violating an ordinance that limits the colors of exterior paint on downtown buildings.
