Bob Handley qualified for the Firestone Tournament of Champions with a 247-201 victory over Jimmy Keeth in the championship game of the $140,000 Greater Hartford Open at Windsor Locks, Conn.
The title is Handley’s fourth and his first since the 1983 Houston Open. He won $23,000, boosting him from 70th on the Professional Bowlers Assn. earnings list to 19th at $33,230.
